**UPDATE** SATURDAY MORNING BREAKFAST

In order that folks can visit Me-Ma more than just Saturday night and whatever time they have left Sunday before heading back home, a surprise breakfast will be held Saturday morning. It will be at the Sunset Station buffet at 8am. Just show up, mention that you're with the Harris Party and they'll seat you. Apparently, payment will be after the headcount.

IMPORTANT ARRIVAL TIMING INFORMATION

Jim Ed & Andrea and Melissa & Gary will be staying at Dianne's house given the easier arrangements with dogs. Because they will be arriving on Friday, to keep up the suprise of everyone else being there, they are going to independently contact Me-Ma and tell her they are coming to town for her birthday. If no one told her they were coming, she might get suspicious!

  PHOTO SHOW UPDATE - DETERMINE YOUR THREE FAVORITE PICS

Now that you've begun your hunt for photos, we ask that when you send them, please note which three photos are your favorites for the show. The other two you submit will be used as alternates in case the photos you prefer cannot be used by the company for whatever technical reason. Again, digital/printed/slide photos are due by September 27th to Dianne.

PHOTO SHOW UPDATE - SLIDE SHOW COST & ORDER INFORMATION

Tom bargained with the company making the slideshow and here are the final prices:

$2 per photo included in the show
$15 for the entire show on a DVD disk
$10 for the entire show on a VHS tape

Anyone can order a copy of the show in either format that they prefer. Sorry George, no 8-Track.

Copies of the show can be ordered after Me-Ma's birthday if you'd rather wait, but if at all possible, please send along your share of the photo expense by the 27th of September along with your photos.

  YOUR PICTURES AND SLIDES REQUIRED BY SEPTEMBER 27th

As mentioned in a previous email, there's going to be a digital slideshow for Me-Ma similar to what Tom & Kate had at their rehearsal dinner at Kate's aunt and uncle's house. We're going to need some photos and slides from everyone to submit to the company that creates the slideshows. So here's what's needed:

Five (5) photographs and/or slides per family sent to Dianne NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 27th.

Given the uncanny timing, feel free to enclose a birthday card for her as well!

The company performing the service is in Sacramento and they've stated they're going to need a bit of time to complete the job given the different formats of photos and slides that will be sent.

**Update** - For those of you concerned about photos being lost or damaged, the company can accept digital copies of photos you've made or have had made at Wal-Mart or elsewhere. Just make sure you either email the picture(s) or send a disk CD with the pictures on it by September 27.

Important: By family, we mean individual families, i.e. those of Me-Ma's children and those of her grandchildren.

First, that will increase the number of potential photos in the show. Second, that will maximize the number of kids pictures that are in the show whether they're her kids, grandkids, or great-grandkids.

Very Important: We need five pictures of Me-Ma with each of her own kids at different stages in their life, specifically younger years.

So, Terry, Jim Ed, Dianne, Melissa and Sue, we're going to need five kid/teen photos from each of you, plus the five photos of Me-Ma with your family/kids already mentioned. If one of your own photos has a brother or sister in it, so much the better. But count the photo as one of your own.

Very, Very Important: If any of you have photos of Me-Ma in her early married years or in her youth that you've found or been given, PLEASE send along the photo or a good copy. We'll need several of those as well and the less sneaking around in her room that has to be done, the easier it will be to keep all of this a surprise!

Grandkids, with or without your own children, send in your own! You might not have kids yet, but you can send in a few photos from a graduation, a party, your wedding, or whatever event you've had as an adult that would be good for the show.

AND FINALLY, it almost goes without saying, the cuter/funnier/more embarrassing the photo is, the better!
